As I have said, there are many things to love about my life right now…especially since I am writing this on the couch at my family’s house with two little cutie pie puppies by my side! ![]()
I was super happy to walk in a house all decorated for fall last night. Our whole house is decorated, but I especially love the mantel and family room area. I am candle obsessed and think they add such a homey feeling to any room!
I am also super excited to be home because I got to go to Zumba today. I love Zumba at my home dance studio. I love the people that are at the class and the songs that they dance to!
Another thing to love about fall: my mom’s pumpkin gobs. Do you call them gobs? I know a lot of people call them whoopie pies, but where I am from, they’re gobs. I especially love her recipe because I am not the biggest cream cheese filling fan, and these don’t have it!
Here’s mama’s recipe!

Well, they may not be the healthiest thing ever, but pumpkin’s a fruit, right? So if I eat them for lunch, I will have a well rounded meal! Bahaha…
Another fall thing I am loving…
CANDY CORN!
I know a lot of you are in love with it, too. Do you also like Indian corn? What about the ones shaped like pumpkins? Right now I am trying my hardest to keep the bag closed so I don’t devour it in 2.3 seconds…
Since my mama has some candy corn, I think I may have to make these from Averie at Love Veggies and Yoga. I saw the recipe and fell in love with the pictures!

I’m off to catch up on some On Demand shows since my life at school is crazy hectic and I just want to relax today!
Do you call them gobs? Whoopie pies? Something totally different?
Are you a candy corn fan or no?

Thanks for linking to my Candy Corn Cookie Dough Pretzel Bites and LMK if you make them. I’d love to make your mom’s pumpkin gobs recipe….they look great! I bet that filling it to die for
I will let you know! If I get bored tomorrow I will be making them!
Yum I need to try those gobs! Def call them whoopie pies around these parts. And I love candy corn, specifically indian corn and the pumpkins. It is sugary goodness!
Definitely! Nothing beats a good candy corn mix!
I LOVE candy corn! But I’ve actually never heard of Indian candy corn. Does it taste the same?
It tastes a little different…I’m not sure if it is chocolate or not, but it’s pretty tasty as well!
I’m a hugeee candy corn fan!
I love the stuff
I LOVE fall decorations! They make everything look so warm and cozy!
I know, me too!! They are so homey and loving!

That sounds perfect. I want some right now!
Those look like whoopie pies to me! I’ve never tried one before, but they look delicious! I’m a big fan of candy corn, no matter what color, shape, or size. I recently found squirrels! They’re adorable and so fun to eat!
Squirrels!? I want to try those!!
I love candy corn & especially the pumpkins! Those are dangerous!
They’re all dangerous to me! haha
