Recipe Thievery

This weekend is the Super Bowl.  Duh. What better way to celebrate than with some fun football game snacks and dips?  I am not very creative with recipe creation, but I am good at finding delicious looking foods on Pinterests and on blogs.

We haven’t decided what the roomies and friends will be preparing for the big game, but here’s a line-up of potential winners:

Skinny baked mozzarella sticks from Skinnytaste.com

Pizza dip from Brown Eyed Baker

Spinach artichoke dip from Skinny Taste

Apple nachos!

Cake batter dip from Lee, Me, and the Girls!

S’mores popcorn

Oh, and of course no Super Bowl could be complete without this:

Talk about WHOA!  Seriously, CHECK THIS WEBSITE OUT! This is incredible! I wish I could do that!!!!  They only calculated it all at about 50 junk foods and 110,428 calories.  No big deal.

Oh ya, and does anyone remember WAY back when that I had mentioned DailyFeats? Well, I finally rounded up enough points to get a Starbucks gift card! How perfect for my newly found love of coffee! Winking smile

Go me!

Ok, well I am sure you’ll hear about and see what we ACTUALLY make for the big game.  All I know is that I hope some of these things make an appearance.  And I wouldn’t be sad if wings were in the mix.  And there’s no doubt that buffalo chicken dip will be included.  That’s a no brainer.

What are your Super Bowl Sunday plans!?

Any other fun weekend things on the agenda? My family is coming to visit on Saturday!!

  1. Fun post! I want the walls of my bedroom to look like that cake batter dip.

  2. I made that spinach dip last year for the superbowl. It was kind of disappointing. It needed something else. I don’t know what though!

  3. would love some of the S’mores popcorn!

  4. Wow, I want to come to your party! :)

  5. Those s’more popcorn look amazing! I have to make one for my boyfriend and I. I have nothing planned this weekend since my boyfriend is leaving to boston without me. Have a fun weekend with your family. It’s great that they’re coming to visit you. :)

  7. I just did a post like this tonight too! :-) That last picture is ridiculous!

  8. I want that cake batter dip! I’ve been wanting to try a recipe I saw for cookie dough dip that actually uses chick peas. I don’t have a food processor though so I’m debating on trying the blender out for this. My go to dip is always buffalo chicken dip though. It’s always a hit! Those skinny mozzarella sticks are awfully tasty looking too though!

  9. That thing is unreal and probably sooo heavy! Our Super Bowl plans are up in the air. It may be the first time in several years we haven’t hosted a party but who knows we may end up having one by Sunday night.

  13. Mozzerella sticks and cake batter dip look amazing!! But what would you be puting in the cake batter dip? Apples or fruit? Or chips? Either way looks delicious!
