Well, after a great 10 day vacation, I am back in PA and have to get through a 4 day work week before another vacation awaits 
.
Here’ s a recap of my trip to Assateague Island, Maryland!
Travis and I got to the island last Thursday, and quickly we settled in to our living space for the week: a trailer in the sand.
Immediately, we changed into our bathing suits and headed to the water, which is just a walk over the dune away from our campsite.
That’s pretty much how we spent all of our time: sitting on the beach, eating, and reading. I started and finished the Fifty Shades of Grey series. I was skeptical after book one but book two reeled me in and I loved the novels!
Of course, the vacation wouldn’t be complete without seeing some horses!
One morning, we were up watching the sunrise and ran in to 31 horses lounging on the sand!
It was raining one day, so we headed to the local casino. I ended up 15 dollars on top, and treated Trav to some froyo!
On Friday, I headed off of the island to meet up with Hollie for lunch and some beach time It was perfect.
All in all, it was a great week. I am sure I’ll have more pictures throughout the week! Now, I am just dreaming and waiting for the west coast!
looks like fun! I’ve been so curious about the 50 shades of grey book, but just haven’t gotten the guts to go buy it.
