It’s Concert Day!

Wahooooooo! Can you believe tomorrow is the beginning of February?!?!?! My birthday month!!

It’s time for the weekly brags, thanks to the gorgeous Hollie!

pbm

Let me start with my physical brag.  Yesterday, I created my training plan that takes me from this week through to September 8, when I have my half ironman.  It starts with half marathon training, and it rolls on through to the big day.  We’ll see how it goes.  I’m always up for tweaking, especially the week after the half marathon if a little recovery is needed.  Making the plan was a huge time-sucker and I am bragging about finally having it finished. Here’s a little glimpse.

My mental brags are harder to come by these days.   I don’t do much with my days, so I’m not really using my brain that much.   I have graded some 6th grade spelling tests.  Is that brag-worthy? haha

I do have a pretty spectacular life brag for you.  This afternoon, I am heading to DC to hang out with my sister and go to the Andrew McMahon/fun. concert! YAYAYAYAY.  If you didn’t know I am obsessed with Andrew and have seen him 6 times in concert between Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin.  As for fun., I’ve loved Nate Ruess since his time in the Format, and I have seen fun. twice in concert.  The combination of two of my favorite musicians is so exciting.  And the fact that I get to go with my sister is, too! Sister bonding at its finest.

I think I’ve posted this picture a time or two, but here’s Andrew and I the first time I saw him.  In love.

So excited.  Not sure whether I’ll have pictures for you or not considering our seats are wayyy up in the balcony, but I’ll do my best Smile.  Expect some recapping soon!

Do you have a favorite musician?

  11. I’m glad you made your training plan! Ours is all done too, but we do ours based on distance not time. I don’t really like doing training plans based on time for whatever reason.
