Well, at least I’m TRYING to bring sexy back. Though I can never be as sexy as Justin. Please tell me you saw him on Jimmy Fallon the other night…
I wish I could brag about being BFFs with JT, but instead I’ll brag about being me! Here are this week’s PMBs:
My physical brag of the week is where I am going to talk about bringing sexy back. At my weigh in yesterday, I weighed EXACTLY the same as last week. But you know what, I tried on a pair of work pants that haven’t fit in a year and they fit! And then I wore them to school because I was so excited! The scale may not be moving right now, but I am noticing a difference in my body. And I am starting to feel better in my ankles and shins though my calves are still REALLY tight!
Is it wrong that I have a goal picture to keep me on track? This is me a few years ago. At this time, I was in the best shape I’ve been in and I was also faster and stronger than I am now. That’s my goal, though it’s about 20 pounds from where I am right now. Maybe I’ll just aim for ten and see how it goes
My mental brag is pretty much yesterday in its entirety. Although I had a taste of my future position on Monday and Tuesday, I don’t officially start my long term assignment until this coming Monday, the 18th. This means that yesterday, today, and tomorrow are still day to day sub jobs. Yesterday, I signed up for a half day, but after arriving as school, I was asked to stay until dismissal. I was more than happy to help. This is the school I will be in for a while and I love being there. The only problem was that I didn’t have any lunch or any money. I had a yogurt. And I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to make it! Stuff like that worries me. I am so much plan oriented that when things in my routine are thrown off, the world is off rotation and I’m out of whack. Thankfully, my coworkers are amazing. By the time lunch time rolled around, I had added a Starbucks raspberry scone and a chocolate chip cookie to my yogurt. Ok, I’ll admit, not the healthiest lunch. But definitely better than waiting until 3 to eat. People are awesome, and I am so thankful for the position I have been given at this school. Mental brag for sure!
Making dah monies.
My life brag is that my mom, sister, and Rex are coming tomorrow! My mom has never seen my apartment or the surrounding area, so I am excited to show her around! Geno misses his cousin Rexy, too!
Thanks to Hollie for the weekly sharing of brags! I’m going to add another brag about how we had a sleepover and bonded over Catfish and biscotti. Just throwing that out there. She’s awesome.
Anything exciting and brag-worthy in your life? I want to hear all about it!
