Craziness is the name of my game these days. No one ever told me during my 5.5 years of schooling that the week before students start is extremely hectic, stressful, and a little bit intimidating.
Here was my day yesterday:
6:00 – wake up
7:30 – arrive at school/organize my main binder
8:00 – morning bus duty meeting
8:45 – special education scheduling meeting
9:45 -11:30 – start bulletin board, organize classroom
11:30 – 12:15 – eat lunch, book flight to Atlanta
12:30 – 2:30 – special education meeting at other school
2:45 – 4:10 – back at home school, organizing/ planning for back to school night (tomorrow) and first week of classes
4:30 – 7:30 – new special education teacher meeting (SO MUCH INFO)
7:45 – 8:15 – dinner
8:15 – 11 – work on my page-long to-do list
11:00 – bedtime!
That picture is an outtake from the beach a few weekends ago, but I feel as though it sums up my feelings toward my life right now. I am just waiting for everything to make sense and fall into place! Good thing I am not a procrastinator! So much to get ready for the year!
As you can see in the schedule above, there was no workout. I have been thinking about it, and I think that any rest days I take will have to be throughout the week. I will definitely have more time for workouts on the weekends. I think I have an idea of how working out will go this school year:
Swim – MWF mornings before school
Gym – TRSatSun (with a rest day when necessary)
I think I am going to have to join a gym in the area. The one at the apartment has proved that I need free weights to enjoy a good strength workout!
One thing I know is that I will be SUPER happy that I have so much of the wedding planned this early!
Do you make your rest days on your busiest days?
Do you feel more successful when working out at a gym?
