Geno’s PSA

I know, I know. I already showed you our decorations earlier today. Well, as a placemat-obsessed girl, I was sad that I forgot to show you our other decoration: our new placemats!

I’m in love with them. Travis actually kind of aided in choosing them, which kind of surprised me, but totally overjoyed me at the same time. Oh ya, and that’s sadly the end of the bread and SpinArt dip we devoured in two days. Sad smile

Did you notice all of the engagement cards in the pictures from earlier today? Well, we also got something from my great aunt and uncle that I’m in love with. We got a whole set of monogrammed towels. Can you spot the nCt?? Now, the question is, am I allowed to used them before that’s my official last initial??

Also, Geno is here with a little PSA. He wants everyone to be sure to use reusable bags when they shop! What an eco-friendly feline!

Puppy Love

One of my favorite parts about being home is getting to see my dog. We got him when I was a freshman in high school, which seems like forever ago!

Curly will turn nine this fall. He’s getting old!!

He’s not the only dog I was excited to see, though. My sister’s dog, Rex, was staying at our house for the weekend, too.

But even Rex wasn’t the one I was most excited for. We have a new addition to the family! Meet Molly!

Molly is a ten week old chocolate lab. My cousin and his wife just got her two weeks ago. She is absolutely adorable. I just wanted to cuddle her all day long! I wish I would have thought to take a video of her flipping her food bowl up in the air and chasing her kibbles and bits. It was our source of entertainment for about a half an hour.

Though I love the puppies, I can’t forget about the cutie that was waiting for me when I got back!

He was doing yoga or something. What a wild one. And yes, that is carpet in my kitchen….so annoying!

In other news, I won’t lie by saying that I ate like crap this weekend. I pretty much just ate everything in sight. I thought I would get back in the game yesterday, but it didn’t seem to happen. Today is a new day, though, and I am going to try hard to eat healthy so that I can feel better about myself, especially since I haven’t been working out as much lately.

I do try the hydro track at physical therapy for the first time today! I will definitely let you all know how it goes!

Cat Sunday!

Well, according to TheChive.com, Saturday is cat day. But in my house, today kind of revolved around Geno. Geno, shopping, and getting psyched for the Mad Men season premiere Smile

Travis and I met my sister in Hagerstown to go to Olive Garden (yum!) and to go shopping at the Hagerstown Outlets. I was pretty proud of myself and only bought one item!

Sweet new Under Armour running pants! Smile YES! I am sure I look ridic in them, but I kind of fell in love.

Geno thought they were for him, though, and commandeered the bag.

To his delight, he did get a total home makeover!!

He got a new mat and a new bowl. He’s spoiled!

He also got brushed while outside today. He thought he was in the wilderness. Surprisingly, he didn’t even try to run down the stairs to escape. He’s a good kitty!

Someone must have smelled him, though…

Geno was not a fan. He was really scarily growling at the homeless kitty.

One last animal picture before I get some grub, pretend to be somewhat productive this weekend (I guess I did go to a conference all day yesterday), and watch the Mad Men premiere!
